My friend Kasper Lewis has just released a trailer for his indie project Rotten Cotton and quite simply it’s mind blowing!
I was one of the people fortunate to get a role in this forthcoming movie when I auditioned for Kasper a couple of years ago. At the casting he explained that the movie is to raise awareness about suicide and bullying and to help break the stigmas attached. I immediately felt that this was an important cause and it was something I wanted to be involved with. Having suffered from bullying myself as a youngster, I am only too well aware of the detrimental impact it can have on your psychological health and your self esteem.
Kasper has gained the support of some great actors who have come aboard for this project such as Wil Johnson and Daniella Westbrook, as well as heavyweight boxer Hughie Lewis Fury and Britain’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall. All are all keen to support this cause and highlight the effects of bullying and raise awareness of mental health issues.
It’s an absolute honour to be involved in this film and appear with big names who are all working together for one great cause. I would love for my readers and fans to help support Kasper’s project by sharing it on social media.
In the film, I play a screwed up lap dancer who suffers from mental health problems. Filming was a very emotive experience for me and it’s good to see Kasper bravely tackle issues that are considered taboo.
The trailer is intense, eerie and moving. It’s been shot and edited to a superb standard and I would like to share with you all. See the trailer above and enjoy!
If you would like to get involved and help fund this project and help the film reach an even wider audience.
